I just ordered a disk brake conv kit from the Right Stuff. The master cylinder is gold/cad color. I want to paint it black or dark grey so it looks as stock as possible. What color should it be and what is the best paint to use?

Thanks

I think you mean the brake booster. and the correct color is gold cad.
If you must paint it black, try VHT "GM Satin Black". It is very close to 60% gloss like your heater box cover.
You may need to etch prime first for adhesion.
Stick to the gold cad!

I used Seymour "cast Blast" #20-1648, turned out like this:

Thanks,

I was actually thinking of painting the actual master cylinder not the booster.
But I'm going to leave it the color that it came.
