Why do you want to remove the post did you make a mistake? Just edit if so.

But your post may help someone else.

Threads are normally left active so that others can benefit from searches. We can remove one if it bothers you but need to know where it is, just use the "whistle" icon for "report a post" and one of us will delete it for you.

We turned off the ability to delete topics for the post originator as we had 3 page replies with great tech answers and "poof" the entire thread would disappear when the person who asked the question deleted it.

Look to the right of #4 on the upper part of your last post.

EDIT: I just realized the whistle icon is not visible on my posts either,

I don't think you can "blow the whistle" on yourself.

exactly,

I did a search and read the FAQ. The Admin stated to use the whistle icon and let them know which post to delete. Those instructions are not valid.

I just want to delete a double post....who has the power?
