I have my heater box completely disassembled and all of the duct work out of the car. The foam seals that seal where the ducts join together are shot. Someone had even went and duct taped all the joints and the duct tape is dry and brittle.

So I took it all apart and now I'm wondering what do you guys use to seal them back? This is a 69 A/C car.

i went to the local hardware store and found several foam weatherstrip sizes for doors and windows. measure and cut, peel the paper off the sticky side and stick it on, worked great. get the softest, most flexible type, so it comforms to all the contours in the duct work.
