Does anyone have a Sun Tach from a first generation?I found one in my parts bin (trunk) when I purchased my 68. There is a faint code and the date 1970 painted on the back. Any help on how to test them would be appreciated.

Let's see how close this is:
Green - neg side of coil
White - lights. Hook up to lights or accessories in the fuse box.
Red - Hot wire.
Black - Ground.
