what size is my rear end? Its a 67 Chevy Camaro. it origonally had 3.08 gears and is a GM 10 bolt. the number on the housing is either 3894659 or 3894859 I cant tell if it is a 6 or 8 on the housing. the number on the axle is PC 1128G and using the PC number is how I found out it was a 3.08 Posi rear end. Im on Summit right now looking for 4.10 or 4.11 gears and I dont know what to look under. I need to know if its a GM 8.5", 7.5", 7.2" or 7.625".

you have a 8.250 rearend, 10 bolt. no 67 came with a 8.5 or 7.5/ 7 5/8

4.11 should be the only one available for the 8.25,but there is no difference between the two

is 8.25 a good size? I want to makle sure because it was origonally out of a L6 Camaro. also is it a 3 or 4 series carrier? whats teh difference between the 2
