Hi guys. I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems dealing with these people besides me? I finished my 69Z back in March and was looking for a right rear (pass) wheel well trim. As most know you can't find GM anymore!! The salesman told me he has one.. and I asked him three times.. are you sure it's the passenger side trim.. Yes.. and your sure it is?? YES. So they sent it. Well of course it was the wrong side one. Drivers side!!!! So I sent it back. Cost 20 dollars to send. That was two and a half months ago. No refund yet!! I'm tired of calling and sending copys of the ups slips and waiting. So........am I the only one who has had problems??

Ecklers' primary business is Corvette parts, and they don't know much about Corvettes either; their apparent strong suit is shirts, jackets, and jewelry, not technical matters. I've never bought anything from them, but I've gotten a three-pound glossy color catalog from them every month for the last eight years. :boring:

They did list themselves as corvettes only. Not anymore.... they have a listing as "Ecklers Camaros". So they seem to be expanding, and NOT in a great direction!!!!! So just beware in dealing with them is all I'm saying!!!

Some history, Eckler as mentioned was a vette business but they have expanded by buying out the CCI, Classic Chevy International (mostly 55-57's) and WCC, Worldwide Camaro Club (formerly WCA, formerly USCC) The CCI has a hugh parts catalog for the big cars and picked up the defunct US Camaro Club and brought it back to life as the Worldwide Camaro Association. CCI then started putting together a Camaro parts catalog.
The idea behind CCI/WCC is promote the growth of the cars in a club environment with a monthly mag and car shows called conventions. By growing the hobby in this manor it creates a market for the parts they sell...

I can't say anything about the parts business but some of the paid help that take care of the club side of WCC are great folks, I say that having crossed paths with some of them several times over several years as well as many e-mailings. Something has changes though since Eckler took over and as much respect as I have for some of the guys I've met the club thing isn't the same. I've lost interest and know others have too, let's just say it isn't the cars or the people I have met through the WCC club so that leaves one element left in this...

I have met several of the employees too. (Most were great!) I won a gift certificate once for parts out of their travelling semi that hits the show circuit a while back. I won the thing after the semi was loaded up and ready to head out back to Fla. I called Ecklers and they never responded whatsoever. It's bad to "bash" a vendor here on the board, but I called, emailed, etc, and not 1 response from them... :( Kinda makes me want to spend my bucks locally.
