Well, I had the 67 L30 running (barely) a couple weeks ago and found coolant in the cylinders. I yanked the drivetrain and tore down the engine and tranny. Had the heads milled, block decked (saving the assembly stamp) and reassembled everything. I started it up today and she runs like a champ (after a little tuning on the carb, etc). All I have to do now is adjust the clutch, shifter linkage and rough in the alignment and I can take the victory lap around the block before I drop her off at my buddies shop for a repaint (I'm not painting this one in my garage :D ).

Here are a couple of pictures of the engine. There's alot of orange there, but notice my restored QJet. I found a plater who chromated all of my carb bodies and all of the linkages. I think they turned out great!
