Here are a couple of projects. To bad they can't be bought, or at least they can't be from what I hear. I guess some people would rather let stuff rust away to nothing than to let someone else buy it and fix it up.

You know someone should compile a list of junk yards with classic iron. Some people hunt out large balls of twine while on vacation others would love to walk around boneyards drooling over rusty classics. Just a brainstorm, you have to excuss me I often open my mouth and random thoughts just spill out..:D

It's in Camden Arkansas, and there is more there than just these. I would say there are about 5 or 6 old classics there that can be put back on the road, maybe more. They are not going to be concourse restos but would make some nice hot rods or drivers I think.
Anyone want to wonder through this place and is coming this way e-mail me and I will be glad to show the place to you. It's in the woods.

My soon-to-be father in law actually has a published book that lists and gives some background on about 30 classic car junkyards throughout the country. I'll see if I can get the ISBN and post it.

Back when I was in highschool (early '60's),, I had a 4-d, '57, 283, 2-barrel, 3-speed 210 Model car that was White and Robin Egg blue!! (I still love the Robin Egg as well as the Teal colors!!)..........
I stuck a Mystery Shifter on the floor in my car b/c the column jobber sucked!! As well as homemade dual W/D/T glasspacks
Anyway, an old farmer guy had one that was the same color and everything else as my car EXCEPT it was a B/A, 4-d, h-t, PP car!! (Almost just like your pic)...
Sucker was put together as a good one b/c it just flat RAN like the wind!!
I think it did have O-D b/c I heard rummers of 110 mph second gear shifts into third!! Mine wasn't an O-D trans car b/c I always wanted one due to being able to shift them clutchless..
Boy this brings back memories....

This is a pretty cool site if you haven't seen it, some of it's pretty sad though. On page 2 of the bowtie section, check out the green 68 Z/28. http://www.carsinbarns.com/
