Check this out. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-CAMARO-ZL1-YENKO-427-ALUMINUM-5-SPEED-AWESOME-SYC_W0QQitemZ4562672459QQcategoryZ6161QQrdZ1QQcmdZ ViewItem
I know the motor is original yenko, but installed in a std. 35,000 mile car in 1982 I think it says does that qualify it as a real Yenko. Painted Guards Red too, insn't that a Porche color?

I don't think so (I bet real Yenko owners won't think so).
That was hard to read. His computer has no enter button or lower case letters. :clonk:

I agree - very difficult to read with all caps! Here's some advice for the seller:

I've seen this car on eBay several times over the last year. I reccognize the paperwork, and, the story. Only this time, I believe the car has been repainted? In previous eBay auctions, I believe the car was red w/ a bk stripe?

Not a very fresh restoration.
My whacky opinon for the future:
I can remember seeing a Mickey Mantle Rookie baseball card for $2000 and thinking that is done going up. Ended up at $25,000 when cards were hot. Hornus Wagner had a card on a tobacco pack. He didnt smoke and objected, I believe there was 7 made. One that sold at auction, in bad shape fetched several hundred thousand dollars. A PAPER BASEBALL CARD! This Chevy engine is probably the equivelent of the rarest coin. This engine will be worth millions someday and sold at auction. I wish I had some extra money laying around that I wouldnt miss.
Collectables have just started showing that there are people that are willing to spend insane amounts of money to have one. How much would someone spend for a hobby that is still in its infancy and has showed no signs of slowing in decades. We love cars, this is hottest hobby of all time.
Someday, we all will be saying, "I could have had one of those for $......."
Worse would be, I had one and sold it!
My view from the cheap seats, Phil

Actually I found it on another forum, but the creator was unknown. Glad you know where it came from ND.
