: Where to get 'accordian' connector tubes?

Does anyone know where I'd be able to find a pair of the astro vent "accordian" connector tubes (this is the tube that connects the vent elbow to the under-dash vent assembly)?

I have a '68 resto underway that left me with only one of the tubes--and it's cracked. Both Rick's and Classic Industries have the elbows, but not the 'accordian' piece!

Any help appreciated!

Pull one of em out and head to the wrecking yard. Lot of the later style cars used them between the door to bodies for wiring for the the electrics. .should be fairly easy to find one and match up the sizes.

hahahaha... I had the same situation, had one of the nice black plastic accordians, and one peice of obviosly non stock flex hose held on with duct tape. After watching a few go for over 150 on ebay, i got some new duct tape. pretty sure 3" dryer hose will fit.

Really? Are we talking the same part?

This guy's about 4 or so inches and diameter and maybe the same in length. I can't see one of those fitting between the door and the body... Apparently it's a press fit-connection too, but I'm sure I could resort to duct tape if absolutely necessary.

I may have to resort to the wrecking yard, though. They're apparently pretty hard to come by (google hasn't helped either!)

I have the same thing going on. Mine pretty much disintegrated years ago so I just threw it all out. When I get around the the "interior" project, I'll be dealing with this issue as well. In the meantime, I did see some flex tubing in various diameters at my local Pep Boys. I would even resort to 3" tubing "flanged" up to 4" using duct tape.
