I'm replacing the door on my 67 and having problem with the vent window instilation. I had to cut a piece of the door in the front to put the went window through. But back part of the window with the long extension that goes all the way in the door does not want to go down more. Anybody had problem with this or Am I missing somethink like a trick here? Any Help?
Thanks

If I remember correctly you can not put that assembly straight into the door. It needs to be turned going in. Sorry I don't remember exactly which way though.

Cut the door??? are you sure you have 67 door and not a 68? the door shells are different. Have a pic of the area you cut???I'm replacing the door on my 67 and having problem with the vent window instilation. I had to cut a piece of the door in the front to put the went window through. I got the 67 door. I cut a small piece where the front of the vent windows mount to the doot in order to mount flush. Otherwise it was not going in. The piece I cut is not in the original door shell. It is a brace piece.
And yes it has to be turned in order to get in.
My problem is I can not push the back no more in It has to go like 1/2" more. I will see whats the deal. Today is to humid to be outside so I left it alone.
