Did a search and found lots of info but not specific to my questions.
Will a Quart size of Marine Clean, Metal Ready and POR15 be enough to cover 4 front control arms?

How do you dispose of the Marine Clean and Metal Ready waste when you are done?

thanks

A quart will cover 50 control arms!
Seriously, I used 11oz on my entire subframe. That's 2 coats or more. The stuff goes a long, long way.

If you buy a quart, get a smaller cup or can to pour some into and paint from that, then seal the quart up REAL well each time it's opened. It cures VERY fast in this heat and humidity!

Marine Clean is like any other degreaser/cleaner. And Metal Ready is environmentally safe, non-toxic, non-flammable, non-caustic, and non-corrosive. Just rinse the parts off. It did leave a white residue on my driveway though, after rinsing off the rearend before painting.

Check out their web site for more information.....

ditto Joe... it goes a long way, I used foam brushes, big ones for wide areas and tiny 3/4 " ones for corners and edges but as Joe said, transfer to small container and instantly close the main can, put in zip lock baggie and save it. I used the tiny boxes that the wet wipes come in that the wife has in the guest bathroom, small, stable and good size for brush dipping. Cut the lid off and toss it. :)

I did the same, if you are planning on changing the bushing or ball joints on the control arms, i would do that first, then paint the arms, taping everything else, they will come out great! have fun and make sure not to get it on ur hands, ive been wearing POR15 for a while on my forearms :D

I sprayed mine along with the whole underside of my car with 2 coats with one quart.

I painted everything almost 2 years ago and have been driving it on the street everyday and it still looks great and cleans up easy.
