I didn't hear this first hand but a few were talking last Saturday at the show of a news report by Paul Harvey News. They said Mr. Harvey was talking about investing money and one of the best investments according to him were classic muscle cars. He mentioned some mopar vehicles and others but specifically mentioned the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. If anyone caught this please let us know more information.

who is paul Harvey?
i take it he is some rich dude that tells other people how he stays a rich dude. i guess him "investing" in 69 Camaros is a good thing if you already own one, but bad news if you don't and actually thought that maybe someday you might be able to afford one.
good thing they make them new now...

And Now You Know "The Rest Of the Story". He always has a pretty good little story that makes you pause, I wonder how many are for real?

Snopes has had a field day with many of his "stories".
His voice and the timing of his delivery of 'the story' are Paul Harvey's (and his son's, Paul Jr.) strong points - accuracy is not...
Still find him interesting to listen too.

I guess if I was still telling stories on the radio at his age I'd make some mistakes too . . . in fact I probably wouldn't care. LOL
He's usually on for about 15 minutes right before Rush.
I just can't picture Paul Harvey driving a 69 Camaro . . . maybe a 6 cylinder convertible.

I remember listening to him on AFN (Armed Forces Network) when I was in the Army. Man I wish we had him here in Chicago :(

Mr. harvey's claim to fame was telling a complete story, not just the highlight's. I beleive that he had a very good reputation for honesty. I think that any advice on a particular investment is only an opinion. Is it not true that first gen Camaros have appreciated in price?
