View Full Version : I love my Ragtop
BPOS Jul 19th, 05, 07:11 PM Just got my convert back on the road 2 days ago after a much too long winter and an engine removal/cam change. What a blast it is to rip down the road with the top down! Just thought I'd share.

thedugan Jul 20th, 05, 05:36 AM I agree too. Cruisin is so much better when you can see the sun and the moon.

BAMiller Jul 20th, 05, 06:47 PM 19 Years here, I almost forget what its like to drive it! should be done next summer.
Chuck L Jul 20th, 05, 08:45 PM BAMiller,your projects lookin GOOD...
thedugan Jul 21st, 05, 09:10 PM Do you think that the converts will appreciate much more then the hardtops?
MStennes Jul 23rd, 05, 03:47 PM I think the vert prices will continue to rise as supply and demand takes over. Plus they made alot less of them and when you take in to conssideration of attrition alot are gone. Al, you are lucky mine was down for 3 years on alittle last year before finding some problems and making changes. Got it going this year only to have the 700R4 go south. Hope to back on the road next weekend. Forgot to say your vert looks great!!!!
Mike

Marks69conv Jul 28th, 05, 11:41 AM Mine was 3 yrs in the making - took on Power Tour and the rear end went. Then after fixing that the carb stud for the air cleaner vibrated loose and went down into the head. Still love the verts - will get back on the road soon.
milehigh67 Aug 8th, 05, 09:54 PM Couldnt help myself. I just bought a 1967 drop top and the old girl and I are getting to know each other. Just put it in my first car show and to my great shock it actually won an award of excellence. I dont even have a license plate on it yet.
Its running rich since I am up in elevation her in Denver but I plan on putting some muscle in this muscle car soon since its really not that fast yet. Looking forward to spending time in the forum.
:waving: :beers:
