I don't know much about the 70 RS Z28 but I'm thinking about going to look at this one on eBay. I thought it was supposed to have rear bumper guards and blacked out grill but not sure. Can anyone here see anything that indicates that it may not be a real RS Z?

Go over to http://www.nastyz28.com before you make this purchase. Click on "1970" on the main page and read up. :)

The car will have to have a number of things to verify it as real. One of the most common things that fakers miss is the floor mounted gas pedal.

I'd start with asking for the Vin and Cowl Tag info of which I don't think either can prove a Z28. Hopefully the Vin will at least show up as a 8cyl car. He doesn't say anything about numbers matching so that's gonna make it harder. I've been interested in these early second gens lately as I think others are as well.

grills are right

I would suspect engine is wrong

rear and front spoilers are wrong UNLESS it is a late production COPO spoiler car
