I have asked this question before but how hard would it be to have a searchable database with VIN's from cars, motors and transmission to search against? With motors, cars and all the parts going for such big bucks there must be a lot of DZ302's without the cars and cars wishing they had the correct motor. I myself have 2 69 Z's with 2 DZ motors with 2 Muncies of which none of them match. If the Barrett/jackson guy can find his matching Hemi in England, one of us might be able to find a correct motor/trans out there for his or her car. But just think, you get a call from someone that has the car for your motor. You know he wouldn't sell you the car and would you get rid of your date correct, non-matching great running DZ??
Still it would be great to have the problem!
