I say yes. No X22D80 with NOR1XXXXX or with 12B build date.

I think so too, just looking for input from some who are more in the know than I. I haven't been back yet to check it out better, I can't figure why you would fake the tagto be a big block car that's green (no hate, please, I love green, my car's going back A.S.A.P.), and then paint it yellow, plan to put a late-model f.i. small block init, hack out the dash for a newer riviera dash and go pro-touring! Makes no sense. Possibly previous owner, this guy said nothing about X22, doesn't seem to know or care.

Tag clearly a fake, and not just the date/xcodes. But as far as the future plans for the car, I would much rather he do that than try to make it "appear" as a "real" car.

I dont think the current owner had anything to do with the new tag. If he did, maybe he realized he wasnt going to get away with it so hes going the mod route.

Is it me, or does it seem to appear that the :

TR............PNT

fonts are smaller?

I put these two side by side and Man, this is hard to tell...I am not an expert on fake VS GM Trim Tags, but....
I lined up all the Fonts and they are where they are suppose to be...
I am just trying to see what y'all see in the Fake X22D80 tag(besides the 12"8"-hard angle to see that B or 8). I compared it to the one from the above thread, the X33D80 tag....That BLACK GOO sealer they used is quite the Red Flag, but, MAN it's hard to tell the difference!
