: Click - Heres the car you went to look at.
Mark C Jan 10th, 04, 02:36 PM Looks like the 69 Dover White convertible you went to look at last week is now on Ebay. We'll have to see how close it comes to what you offered him.

kz1000ltd Jan 10th, 04, 03:33 PM Somebody just used the "buy it now", it sold for 15K...... smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif
CFunK Jan 10th, 04, 03:51 PM What are you talking about?
It's a 10 day auction and the high bid at this moment in time is $7600. There is not "Buy it Now" option.
click Jan 10th, 04, 03:57 PM Thats just KZ razzing me graemlins/thumbsup.gif thats the car for sure. It will be fun to watch the progress.
Its not a bad car but being the fanatic to bring it back to original would cost a few pesos. Someone will buy it to drive 'as is' and not worry about the little things, and thats ok, but thats not me.
Im not quite anal about a camaro but on occasion catch a wiff
front grill needs correct paint, exhaust needs to go back to original, needs wheel well trim, door hingest. Interior seat covers and new carpet probably, a good cleaning in engine area too. Paperwork is excellent on it for someone looking its a keeper with a little work to do.
kz1000ltd Jan 10th, 04, 04:38 PM Exactly! I say we have a contest to see who come closest to guessing what the car will go for......I'll go first. $22,600..........KZ
paulm Jan 10th, 04, 04:45 PM How about....$16,200.
stevo camaro Jan 10th, 04, 05:40 PM $15,400 ;)
KevinW Jan 11th, 04, 02:27 AM It will go to $16,500 and then the seller will pull the auction, cause he forgot to put his $20K reserve on when he started the auction and I'm pretty sure he cannot set a reserve after an auction starts. :D
DOUG G Jan 12th, 04, 01:22 AM Won't meet reserve. Like was said here before "worth only what someones willing to pay".
red69camaro Jan 12th, 04, 03:54 AM I know they didn't make a 327 SS. Did they make an RS??

Steve's68RS Jan 12th, 04, 06:19 AM 14,880.
Our 68 327 RS with deluxe interior-my literature confirms you could RS any car.

click Jan 13th, 04, 11:33 AM Today that link doesnt work, maybe pulled it already? Ive not gotten a call from him yet either
DjD Jan 13th, 04, 11:48 AM They don't usually just pull them, they get closed and linger a while. I bet it's gone because he wanted to put a reserve on it after the bidding started... Might be worth a search to see if it's back in a new auction...
Mark C Jan 25th, 04, 03:33 AM Heres another one, looks like an LM1 with column shift M38 TH350 transmission, VIN 124679N517262. Dover white convertible with blue standard interior and blue convertible top. No A/C though.

click Jan 25th, 04, 05:32 AM Thanks Mark for the heads up on it. Looks pretty nice too. My list for a ragtop is 69 RS, or SS/RS, or a standard one for real good price. I dont mind some cleanup work, minor detailing, interior carpet, paint, etc. Just cant handle major body work.
Keep me in mind if you see anything, but not from a retail dealer, too much mark up for my pocket.
