It's either T02 LR or I02 LR 19S716536 it has 4 bolt mains. I looked on mortec nothing on TO2 But IO2 427 Chev. You guys have helped me out big time in the past Thanks.

That motor is nothing but a boat anchor. Send it to me.

It is TO, but that isn't the important part. The LR suffix was only used once, as follows.

1969 LR Corvette 427 435 Mt SHP

Makes sense with the partial VIN, because Vettes were made at the St. Louis ("S") plant back then.

That would be a Tri-power Vette block, my friend.

Thank's again Eric! The TO part just threw me. Hi perf pass stamped in two places and I did not think it was a truck engine.

The Hi Perf Pass casting doesn't mean a whole lot; my big block, which was originally a 72 Chevy truck 402 also has the High Perf cast into it, and it seems to be fairly common. The key is the 4-bolt mains and that LR code. I would assume that block is worth some serious cash to a guy restoring a 69 Corvette. You might check some of the Vette forums and post the partial VIN to see if you could find the car...

The '69 L-71 Corvette it came out of was built on February 19, 1969. :thumbsup:
