Just had an estimate from a local interior place to install new seat foam on the buckets and seat covers on the buckets and rear bench. His price was $350 in labor. I buy the parts. Does that sound too high? What would be a reasonable amount to expect to pay for this? Thanks.

After having done all the seats before - buns and covers - I'd GLADLY pay someone $350 to do it for me.
I say it's a good price.

I was quoted $75 per seat. After taking it apart and finding broken springs, Im glad I did not take it in.

I bought new foam and springs for the fronts and new covers all around from Rick's. I tried doing one of the front seats myself...after much swearing and bleeding fingers, I brought all the seats to a local upholstery guy in April of this year. He charged $300 labor to do everything. That included repainting the seat backs, repainting the runners, greasing etc. Came out great...money well spent!! Unless you can grow skin on your fingers real quick, and have mucho patience, let a pro do it.......His quote is not too high, sounds about average. ;)

I paid $200 to have the rear seat done. I supplied the cover, they replaced the padding/foam. So, $350 for all sounds pretty good.

My local upholstery shop quoted $300 for the same thing. I am going to let him have them just as soon as I can find two respectable front seats.

See if they will reduce the price a bit if you bring the seats in already stripped of the old coverings and foams.
