Made it to the local track for the old time drags this weekend and it was a blast. I had asked a fewe weeks ago about some advise on getting my 60's down. My new best times are in my sig my old best was 11.81 with a 1.69 60 at 113 mph. we manged to drop the times to 11.58 with front supension work and a different launch havent messed with motor yet. What seemed to make the biggest difference was i put limiters on and the time drop from 11.79 to a 11.61 first crack at it. I would of liked to mess around some more on sunday but i decided to try and makea stab at some et racing, made it to the third round but broke out by 3 thousands. It sure is a blast racing when there is something riding on it, anyways thanks gusy for all the help hitting the track in 2 weeks to see if i can't get into the 11.40's to justify my cage :)

What was your car doing before when you were getting the 1.59's spinning then hooking?

Thats a good improvement, you even picked up 4mph.

Good luck on the 11.40's

My engine is a 11.5:1 383 with dart heads 525 solid lift cam , weind team G with a 825 race demon carb. I have got a turbo 350 with a 5000 stall turning a 12 bolt with 4:56 gears and 29.5x11.5 QTP.
When the car was running 1.69 60s i dont think i was spinning it was just that the front end was too loose. Changing to the limiters seems to really have made a difference along with getting my launch down. the car works alot better flashing the stall. Next friday i will be racing at a night drags i may mess around with loading the converter again, i didnt really give it a far chance the other weekend i was trying stay consistent since i had to race on the sunday.
