I am going from a fairly stock 350 to a 383 in my 67. With this increased HP i will need to upgrade my radiator and have been wondering what i should do. I was looking at the US Radiators in Ricks and was wondering if i could just put one of the 4 core 23" BB radiators in my car. Would that work? They are reasonably priced in ricks for approx $200. Thoughts??

I would go with an aluminum. It will cool better than any copper
$300 from www.hotrodsusa.com

Definitely upgrade to aluminum media as the previous poster suggested. Make sure you have at least two rows, 1" minimum, and 14 fins per inch. The inherent design of these radiators increase flow and heat dissipation.

The 23 inch 4 core works great in my 67 Camaro with a 406 and A/C. Never had a problem with it overheating even in bumper to bumper traffic.

The aluminum radiator from hotrodusa will cool your small block.. I'm taking one out right now because it WON'T cool my big block :)

Thanks for the input guys, i think i am gonna go with the 23" 4 core, personal preference but im not a big fan of aluminum radiators. Want something that looks more stock. (And that will bolt right up.)

There are several companies that make direct bolt in aluminum radiators for 1st gen camaros. I just ordered one from Jegs to cool my 600hp BB in my '69
