S/R torquer heads 76cc.
Crane cam lift int. .3200 exh. .3200 int. .480 exh. .480, adv dur. 284 in. 284 exh., .050 dur 228 int, 228 exh , .050 dur btc 7 abc 41 bbc 51 atc (3). The part # is 100072.
Edelbrock Air Gap intake.
flow tech headers.
Carter 750 carb.
MSD 6A box.
69pacecar Aug 2nd, 05, 10:27 PM id say around 400hp and close to 450 ftlbs, my buddy has a 68 camaro with a 406 with same heads and it made 440 hp 450 ftlbs at the flywheel. he has a comp magnum solid flat tappet cam w/close to .240duration and .550lift and a vic jr intake and 11-1 compression. ofcourse his idle is around 1200 rpm. he ran a 12.4 on drag radials, hope this helps.

It's possible he rebuilt an old block that was already 30 over.

-Crane Energizer cam lift int. .3200 exh. .3200 int. .480 exh. .480, adv dur. 284 in. 284
Exh., .050 dur 228 int, 228 exh, 050 dur btc 7 abc 41 bbc 51 atc (3). The part # is 100072.
-Edelbrock Air Gap Intake manifold.
-long tube Flowtech headers.
-Carter AFB competition series 750 cfm carb.
-MSD distributer.
-MSD 6A box.
-MSD plug wires.
-TH 400 (mild work done to the gears and a shift kit).
-10 bolt rearend with Richmond 3.36 gears, limited slip.
-2 1/2 pipes, H-pipe, Flowmaster 40 series mufflers.

mmcillece Aug 7th, 05, 06:52 AM Ok, this is a little better with the info you have. Those heads are 67cc chambers, just so you know and don't buy the wrong pistons. Part # 042660-1 is listed on the World site as a complete head for hyd cam with 67 cc chambers.
I know the test shows a 355 for the engine, but I did change the bore and stroke.
