Does anyone know if this camshaft would work okay in a 327 bored to 331ci.
It has 10.5:1 compression ratio and 4.56 gears in it. It has a 4 speed, with 28" tall tire.

the specs on the cam are:
Crane F244/3454-2S-6
280/288 Advertised duration
.518/.536 lift

244/252 @ .050"
with 106 LS and a 106 CL

It seems close to the XS282S Comp Cam.

It is not a daily driver, More of just a weekend warrior right now.

What do you think?

It sounds pretty ball park. With the gears youve got, the 4 speed, and the eddy aluminum heads it will work in that motor without any issue(meaning your drivetrain is plenty capable, and it sounds like the rest of the top end is good enough to breathe for the 331 inches at the rpm that cam will like). However, it will be radical but its a weekend warrior right.

I think you will love that cam! I have a similiar cam in my 333 but is ultradyne 276/284 ,243/251 @ .050 with 106 lsa in on 101 c/l! My compression is only 9.8 with richie 5 speed and 4.10 and drive to track with 11.64 best 115.5 and 1.56 60 foot!So my experience is go with that cam and have a blast! good luck, AL
