I went to my machine shop guy and he turned me onto a friend of his that has a 383 lt1 in 94 camaro.The car has cast crank,eagle rods,forged pistons,self ported lt1 heads,gm hot cam.Car is six speed,3.73 gear factory rear housing and most of the bolt on goodies like headers,throttle body.goes 11.8 in quarter with mt drag radials no nitrous.I rode in car today and that thing will fly!Making me more curious about getting mine done.He also talke with me about it being possible to mount rpm airgap intake to the engine.We may be able to do it.Keep you posted.CANT WAIT!!!!

Good heads and a mild cam will put a 383 in the 11s easy.
