Did anyone here see the last episode of rides?? THey went to Year one where they have started to build fiberglass bodies of classic muscle cars. I think that they are the ones that are doing the 69 convert camaro body, anyway, They are building a 67 Chevy II with a EFI 572 and 4L80e trans. It is a really cool car and it made 500 rwhp in completely fiberglass body it should be a screamer. But they claim to only hope for low 12's maby mid 11's. Man if that car doesn't run low 10's then they are doing somthing wrong! With that much hp on tap it definately has teh power to get there. Cool car anyway let me know what you thought.

I saw it and had the exact same thought as you. That car ought to run low 11's pretty easily. Did you ever hear them say how much it weighed? A friend of mine has a '68 Chevelle with that same motor in it but with a Demon carb and it runs mid 12's here at Bandimere. So low 11's should be pretty easy.
When I first heard them talking about putting the fiberglass body on it, I figured it woudl end up looking kinda cheesy. Bu that thing looks awesome. I'd like to see it in person.

THey never gave the weight of the car but it has to be extreamly light. It has a tube chassie and a fiberglass body. I would guess it would come in some here around 2500lbs??? maby less
2500lbs + 600hp = 12's????

If it hooks up, mid to low 11's easy.
A friend of mine restored a '69 Chevelle, all steel body, 502/502 with a turbo 400. I don't remember what the rear gears were, but he was running consistent 11.80's on drag radials.

Buddies 67Camaro dyno'd at 599.7 (small block) has fiberglass front end, doors, and deck lid, all windows are lexan, full 12pt? cage, and Aluminum interior with 1 seat and all the electrical "gagets". 2800# I think he said. It has been 9.5's (all motor) at Cecil County Dragway .
That Nova has to be lighter and even has as much or more horsepower.... you tell me 11's ?
