Hi
I have a 68 camaro standard interior I am in the process of replacing the dash vent bezels the old ones are worn and pitted. when I removed the Side air vent assembly unit with the bezels there is a piece of corrugated hosing that came out with it. this piece of hosing is broken and split in several places. Do any of you know were I can get a replacement for this it doesn't appear in any of the catalogs I currently have. thanks

I did mine several months ago. I could not find a correct replacement. The repro replacement consist of two foam gaskets and some wire reinforced duct, similar to clothes dryer duct. The duct slips over the foam gaskets. You can get the gasket material at Home Depot it's about .5 inches wide and .5 inches thick foam with a peal and stick back. I think the duct was 3" in diameter. Glue the gasket to the elbow and the cowl vent inlet and give yourself enough room to slip the duct over the gasket.A little vaseline helps to get the duct over the gasket. Good luck.

Those peices were used in a number of GM models, I think. I've seen them on ebay, going for a hundred and up. I used epoxy to fix mine.
