Does anyone have a pic of a covans dash in a 67 or 68? I would like to see how it looks and how the blinker LED's are set up. Its tough to find pics for this car Ive searched and searched. Theres tons of pics for the 69. I also found that if you purchase the guages yourself you can save 200 bucks, of course you dont get the harness, I will be using an 18 circuit painless harness in my car so I figured I probably dont need it. Any thoughts on this or pics from in the car would be great.

Thanks Rich

I have a pic of the covans dash in my car, although not a great one. You choose the spots for your l.e.d.'s. I purchased the whole banana from covan's. It was a breeze to install and I too have the painless harness you describe.

I would love to include the pic, but I can't figure out how to add it. Help me out with that and it's yours to see.

Thanks

Orench,

Thanks, exactly what Im looking for. Now I have a few questions for you. The 3rd pic of the guage cluster face appears to look somewhat crinkle finished is that correct or is it completely smooth? The assembly of the guages into the cluster, did you do it or does it come that way and does all the electrical connections come through the grey cable with the white plug on the end, and do they supply that as well?
Hope you dont mind the questions - Thanks again Rich

Yup, the surface is kinda wrinkled. The gauges were bought separate, to save some, but he told me they also come assembled. The whole wiring, behind the panel, was made by me, including the multi-plug. I instaled the plug for easy of disassembly in the future. This car didn't came with any gauges what so ever, so I had to look for the different signals to make it all work properly. The "LEDs" are from Radio Shack.
Hope you dont mind the questions - Thanks again Rich
