Where should the deluxe interior emblems be located on a 68 seat cover? In looking at pictures it looks like they are located in the center above the insert, houndstooth, and the top of the seat back. Does anyone have the specific dimensions?

As you can see, my 68's interiors aren't original, nor repro, but made by a local shop who placed the emblems as per the interior seat material's marks or stains left by the original emblems location. Maybe you can find the spots inside the original seats, the same way we did. :thumbsup:

ORENCH, thanks for the suggestion. My seats were originally standard. I am converting to the deluxe. What is the distance from the seam to the bottom of the emblem? Looks like the rear is different from the front.

jacket, as I mentioned, the emblems are located as close to original as they can, but the seams were a little difficult to trace by that same procedure. For that reason, I'm afraid that they might not be on the "exact" same position as the originals were, so let me suggest, that a member with original interiors, give you that dimension. If you think that you can use mines anyway, email me and I'll measure them for you. :thumbsup:

I have what I believe to be a set of original (unrestored, un-recovered) '68 deluxe seats, and here's what I measured. From the seam/piping under the emblems to the bottom edge of the emblem measured 2 3/16" on both front seats, and 2 1/16" on both rear seat emblems. Let me know if you need any other info.
