Anyone here ever get to the Oregon, Illinois car show? They have a pretty decent little show the first weekend in October, which coincides with their Autum Festival. They have craft shows, food, farmers market and some other stuff, and of course, the car show. Something for the whole family, in case your wife isn't totally into the car scene.

I have been there a few times, and was wondering if any of the TC cars might be there. Mine will not be there this year, because it is just a pile of metal and bolts right now. :)

I'm giving it some thought.... it's only an hour or so away from me. Got my new ignition, so I should be running again soonest. Wife won't want to go, and no interior yet... we'll see

I wouldn't mind going as it is only about 100 miles away. I'll have to see if the wife already has that weekend planned.

Jim and Rod, I hope to see you guys there. I know it is slightly stereotypical, but the town has a huge craft show, in case the wives might be more interested in that. I walk the craft show with my wife (booth after booth of stuff I don't see the purpose for) and she walks the car show with me, and neither of us push or prod the other one to get moving or anything. It is a good time for both of us, and the car show, while generally small, usually has some very nice cars. :)

I should mention that the stop in Oregon is merely a pre-show for the giant flea market we are actually going to visit in St. Charles, Illinois. Once a year we get about 7-8 couples together and caravan to the flea market. We all get rooms at one of the local hotels, and make a night of it. It sounds sort of like a bunch of yokels that need to get out more, but we have been doing it for 15 years now. Every year the base group remains, with new couples joining, and other couples deciding that they can't do it this year.

At any rate, we will be there at the show on Saturday. Hope you guys can make it...with your cars. Either way, hope to see some of you guys. :)
