I have a loose wire in my radio that is also affecting my power windows (98 V6 3800 auto). When the radio cuts off, the power windows don't work. I know the loose wire is under my glove box somewhere, but I don't want to accidentally pull the airbag cord, thinking it is the radio. Any info on why the windows won't work when the radio doesn't? Any advice? I've checked the fuses and they are good. I just lost my job and finances are tight so I have had the joy recently of doing my own tuning and mods, which is fun but tough (some of these areas are tight and I have rather large arms). Needless to say I can't really take it to a mech.
