Anyone know of any shops reconing the single front speaker for a 69, and how much $ is typical? I did a search and a name came up, unfortunately nothing showed under that name when searching the web (Vintage Radio Restoration, Oregon). I'm hoping to find one a little closer to the east coast.

Here is the link to Vintage. I had him recone both my front and back speaker and rework my original AM/FM radio. I have not installed in the car but the quality of the work looks great. Cost are reasonable and turn around time is good.

I used the Vintage outfit in Oregon to recone my68 fron speaker. It works "ok". The sound quality is not the greatest. I think the poor sounds stems from the old am radio rather than the reconed speaker. I have never had the Radio reworked. Also I am used to the more modern radios of today. I found their service and delivery very good. Price was very reasonable. I made a post regarding this some time back. Maybe you can do a search and see what i said back then. Good luck.
