Just become aware of the Technostalgia LED Taillight conversion kits for First-Gens. They look pretty cool. Has anyone installed these? Any problems?

I installed two sets this year in my 68 Rally Sport and think they're great, though most anything would have been better than 37 year-old press-in socket fittings which popped out weekly.

Installation is a breeze, instructions are clear. My only problem is now the taillight assembly leaks water into the trunk. Resealing the taillights with a rope of tar putty should be easy, but almost nothing is easy for me the first time around.

I checked this site before installing mine. Some people don't like the dot matrix look of the LED's. To me, behind the red lenses, they look like two smaller bulbs glowing where one larger bulb was before.

I bought some LED tail lights that are for box trucks and haven't did anything with them yet.

I seen some retro-fit LED's cheap somewhere... I think summitracing.com ?

I just did a quick look and can't find them. Might be another mag. ?
