I have been chasing down electrical problems for a week. Ah so close to hearing my car run but so far. It turns out that my hazard switch stays on and none of the lights blink. Must be shortling in the column. I took apart the column tonight and pushed the flashed button closed. My right blinker worked and my brake lights work without blowing a fuse. The left blink is dead, no dash light or anything. There are little leafspring type pieces that act as resistence when you push in the flasher button. One of the pieces pops out of the little black holder. Not sure why but it wouldn't stay behind it after you push in the pull out the flasher button. So I think I should replace the entire turn signal/flash assemlby. But how the heck do you get the old one out and a new one in. Do they come hard wired to the harness? Soooo many electracal problems!! This is what I get for wanting to replace all the wiring with new.
