i'm doing a massive rewire, fuseblock, fuel injection, etc... on my 69 350, ..I installed a HEI distributor on it to replace the points style.... question is, the BAT wire in the cap, (next to the tach wire), does this wire need to go straight to keyswitch 12 volts now? Or does it need some kind of relay etc... probably a dumb question...

straight to the ignition switched 12 volts. Usa a 12 gauge wire, don't need a relay.
