It sure looks good I bet not many people have them yet, so replies will be slow. I mine was toast I would go for it.

I bought one last fall. I replaced an existing power top that had bent. It was an excellent fit. in fact, I swapped the top bows that the ragtop was stapled to so I could re-use the existing (almost new) top. The bows switched out perfectly. The top frame was painted black but I re-painted it the correct semigloss. The quality is good but the only gripe I had was that the hole for the coat hanger hook was not lined up properly and I had to re-drill it. My existing top fit the new header bow just right too. The new frame does not come with the soft top or top pad tack strips in the header bow. Well long story short... It was a nice replacement - there were no wrinkles in the re-used top - the welds were acceptable and it seems to raise and lower just fine. I would buy one again if the need ever came up. Good job Dynacorn!

Coat hanger hook? On a convertible? I have never heard or seen one of those! And I have seen a bunch of 69 converts. You got pics?

My three Firebirds had one on the passenger rear top rail. I believe the hook is a different style from the hardtop too.

BTW... My hook is on the inside Drivers side rail above the 1/4 window. Check to see if your top frame has a small mounting hole in it.

It seems that I am unable to post the picture without hosting it somewhere. I will try to find a pic on line that I can link to.... or get it hosted.

Thanks,
