I think I know the answer (seat foam, window regulator, door handle) to my questions.
I want to change fropm standard to deluxe/houndstooth interior via the Classic Industries kit. As far as i can tell (from reading the posts) I will need to purchase these items out side of the Classic kit:
Window regulators
Door handles
dash grab handle & bezels
bucket seat foam
door panel chrome (front & back)
door panel emblems
door panel grab handle
Is there anything I left out? Anyone order a Classic industries interior kit before? I am curious as to the quality.

i believe you will also need a longer window crank handle mechanism.

Jumpmaster,
You will need door panel cups that fit inside the pocket of the door handle. Bezels for the grab handle. My 68 has chrome trim on dash pad for deluxe interior. I am not sure for a 69.

You don't need the dash grab handle unless you had the Z23 or Z87 interiors. Of course if you are going to drill the dash to install it, go for it. Just make sure you get the measurements for the proper location.

Didn't all the 9's with deluxe int. have the wood grain dash assemblies also. Also the door handle opening mechanisms have to be changed.

The RPO Z87 interior received the full treatment. Deluxe upholstery, door panels, door handles and mechanisms, full walnut grain treatment on the dash and steering wheel insert and bright pedal trim. The RPO Z23 recieved standard upholstery and door panels with walnut grain accents on the dash carrier and steering wheel insert and included the dash grab handle and bright pedal trim.

I had a new set of 69 deluxe door panels from Classic that WOULD NOT fit. I wrestled with them for a few days. Then i ordered a pair made by Al Knoch from Ricks and they went right on. The ones from Classic were purchased a few years back,so maybe the ones they are selling now are different.Just a heads up. ;)
