In this pic from your site, it shows your caliper mounting plates angled above center. The plates I have allow for 2 positions Above like shown in your pic or more or less parallel to the ground. Is there a preference?

I can't find anything online on the perfered location of the caliper other than driver side to the front pass side to the rear. I can go above center or below with my brackets I have. Daves 10-bolt he has them above center and Torquer's site shows them below center on his car. Any input at all guys? I have a call in the the kits supplier and should here back shortly but would still like other input...

It is likely that they can mount in either position, I do not think it is to important, however it is important that the bleeder valve be at the top. I would look at the caliper and mount them so the bleeder is up.

You're right Matt, I talked to Touring Classics this evening and the position doesn't matter as far as brake function. The reason their plates allow 2 positions is to insure the caliper, brake line and e-brake all clear the leaf spring.

I'll try and find the Baer instructions. I do remember thinking higher was better for shock clearance on this second gen setup.

I've finished trial fitting mine in both positions and the e-brake setup is tangled with the u-bolts and shock plate. The upper position looks like everything will clear properly.

I can take pics of mine if you need them. Be careful of frame interferance on the drivers side if you angle them up too much.
