Should the engine mounts on a 69 SS350 be painted 30% / 60% gloss black, or should they be left alone? I have these NOS mounts, and I'm not sure whether to paint or clear-coat them?

I would think they where painted after being mounted to the frame which is 30%

I should have mentioned that it's the unit that mounts to the engine, not the frame mount.
