I'm looking for information about the June 1969 Strike and if it's possible to have an Engine assembly date after the Fisher Body cowl tag date. And if so how much time is accecptable? I have read on the CRG Web Site that there are unusual cases where it is later, but it should be within a week of the body.

Possible, but not very likely. LA only came back online in June of 69 to finish the cars that were inprocess amd already on the line on the when the strike started on April 29th. June and July LA production totals only equal about 2000 cars which is a little over a weeks worth of production. All of the parts should have been in the plant when the strike started, but if they needed parts then they should be dated mid June to early July and would be in 05A build week cars since the plants wouldn't have know if they were short and wouldn't have ordered the parts until just before the plant came back up on 6/19.
