When I first bought my camaro, the right headlight was crooked in the bucket; it would not line the beam up right. I reordered a new RH bucket from a parts house. After installing the new bucket, it did the same thing. seal beam offset about 30 degrees.I took off the left and it is the same pattern as the right.

Has anyone had the same problem? Is the RS different than other camaros?
(I had heard this before).

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

69 rs uses left bucket on right side and right bucket on left side.... there is a note in ricks' catalog about this

Thanks a bunch. That all makes sense. I had started to order the left side just to check it out. This confirms it.

I had mine reversed as well, 30 degrees off :( so switched them side to side and bingo works right on :)

Thanks, I missed finding the search for this info. Team Camaro proves to be invaluable again.
I guess the party I bought the car from probably had a battery spill on the right hand side; patching in that area. They evidently had to replace the bucket also, ordered a right hand unit, and just installed it that way.
Real glad to find out the problem.
