Just an FYI for those who post parts in the for sale section.

I had a buyer wanting to buy my #3310 carb recently, named Koko Benjamin.

To make a long story short, he wanted me to pick up a $4500 check and send him the balance after i take out whats mine.

Sounds similar to the scams that have been of recent.

If you get an email from him, dont waste your time with him.

I'm more worried about all the "relatives" I keep losing over in africa and south america. Apparently not a one of them can drive, because they are all dying by car wrecks. Whats really strange is that they all have lots and lots of money too.
Whats even stranger is that it is also happening to my wifes "relatives" too :D

Travis, my wealthy relatives are also dying almost daily in crashes. What a coincidence.

And lastnight I got a mail wanting to buy my car. Funny thing is I don't have one advertised anywhere. So I responded back with an imaginary price for the imaginary car. Sounds like a check for more than what I requested is on the way. Here is the scammers response:

i have see the cost of the car and the car also very beautiful,i am interesting of purchasing it ,which cost is $7500 dollars,any way there is no big deal on that,i will tell one of my client,who own me a sum of $10000 dollars to send you a check of $10000 dollars,i want you to send the remaining balance which is $2500 dollars to my shipping agent for clearing the car ,if it is ok with you just let me know,and send the information that will be on the check.
