i have a supposedly original 69 350 SS, looking at the engine numbers has got me curious. the top one is VO914UFC and the smaller one is ca410504 can anyone tell me what motor i have? :confused:

Sorry, but not original. Anything with a three letter suffix is 1970 and up. Yours is a 1980, but at least it is a 350.

Makes sense with the smaller number, which is a partial VIN. The C is for Chevrolet (vs. "T" for GMC), the A is for Lakewood, GA assembly plant, which made trucks.

thanks for the info. all the paperwork i got with the car only said rebuilt engine.
nothing lost except for the good friend that willed the car to me (not the way i wanted all that begging to sell it to me to pay off)
