Boy does that bring back memories..The guy I bought mine from in '79' painted it pearl white and put a black top on it and cragars (barf). I was able to scrape the $ for a homey paint job but just couldn't see ripping off a perfectly good (black )top. I had the top down as much as possible!

I've alway wanted to put on a black top and interior. Its white now. But I can remember sitting in traffic with my old convert with black interior with the top down and the sun beating down screw that. I'm not going to swap cool for cooler

Well he's going for the pace car look so it will be getting the white top and the orange interior.

It's kind of nice in that when I see the car it won't look like my old car so maybe I won't feel as bad for selling it. ;)
