: Another successful gathering!!

As always it's great to get together with people from the site, Jody, Charlie, John, John, Ed, Scott (Ken ;) ) and Mark. Did I miss anyone? It was a great day I put 279 miles round trip on the Camaro, I think there were 10 of us for most of those miles which made it even better. Between all the driving got to enjoy lots of eye candy too!!
Thanks to all the Generations folks for their hard work and for putting on a very good show!! See http://www.camaros.net/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=23;t=000003 It was well organized and the mixing of Camaro and Corvair was cool. The two cars complemented each other amazingly well. I found it interesting that so many of the Corvairs were for sale and many of the Camaro folks I spoke with said they were getting asked if they wanted to sell.
An interesting side note, after leaving the show our group stopped for a burger at an In & Out that was next to a Harley shop. As we pulled in the common parking lot it was obvious we were dropping in on import gathering. The kids were all very complementary and respectful. Some of them had camaras and took pic's of the camaros and we got waves as we pulled out... Who says we all can't get along? graemlins/beers.gif

It was nice seeing you again Dennis, as well as several guys I've met before. The weather really cooperated and there was a nice turnout. Gotta get going on my project so it's ready for some cruising this year!

I just wanted to post a big thanks for the support of our event. We had a great time and learned a lot co-hosting this show with the Corvair folks. It was a lot of fun, and we can't wait to get the clubs and other Camaro Tech folks together again.
