Getting ready for some sound deadner, carpet and interior work on a 69 coupe. I just can't recall these 4 holes on dis-assembly. They are on the tunnel in between the front buckets. The pics are the passenger side by the rear left seat mount. I put heat shrink in for visibilty. Thanks for any help.

Those do not look like any factory holes that I know of. Maybe there was a made up console or something at one time in your car.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Thats what I wanted to hear. I have every nut and bolt from this vehicle labeled, bagged and stored yet nothing that belonged in these holes. Thanks again.

Could they have been from a previous owner who raced the car? The spot you mention is just about where I drilled the 4 holes for my CE driveshaft loop. Even in street classes, driveshaft loops were mandatory.

Those look like driveshaft loop holes. When I got my car, it had one on it, that I took off. The holes on mine were in the same area. Just as Amptech said, street classes need them too.

Yep, what you guys say makes sense. That could very well be. Thanks for the input. I just wanted to make sure the holes were not stock.
