Anyone have a pic of there windshield moulding clips installed? The windshield mounting screws that I purchased leave about an 1/8" stud when fully screwed into the pinchweld. The windshield moulding clips are quite loose. Do the trim mouldings put tension on them when they are attached or am I doing something wrong?

I had the same problem, and ended up using #4 sheetmetal screws. They do not clip in..I just put the clip in place and screwed it tight.

they should be tight, gunner. think the repro screws are a lil too long?

I pop riveted some of mine in place where I was missing studs and they worked just fine.

I think the "barrel" of the screw is too long.

I would say they are too long, you can either use screws or pop rivets, either will work.
