Hey guys, I got my car (67 rallisport) and the guy put in electronic headlamp doors, but the right one doesnt work. The light goes on, and you can slide it back, but it doesnt open automatically. anybody know the reason for this? also, I got rid of the air condition, but i still have that ugly plate thing with the switches, is there anybody that carries a delete plate for it? and my tach doesnt work, and i dont know that much about it. Its got a rebuilt 350, and I heard things about filters? but i know nothing. and last question, when I roll down my windows, the tint gets scratched, can I fix this? make it so it doesnt scratch? it is really close to the right side of the window, about an inch in width. thanks

Man what a list.
1. their is a motor that runs the door. Check the voltage to the motor make sure it is getting juice when you turn on the lights. Use the one that is working as a reference as to what wire should be hot. Check for in line fuses and the like that could be causing it not to work. All else fails you will need to replace the motor.
2. Do you still need the heater and fan? You said you got rid of the a/c did you remove the box under the dash too? If so you can remove it too and the selector from the dash and install a piece of sheetmetal painted black to cover the hole.
3. Is it a factory tach? :confused:
4. which filter? air filter, oil filter, gas filter :confused:
5. you remove the door panel and their is either 2 or 3 adjusters with a fuzzy edge that are adjusted against the glass. The fuzzy stuff is worn off and they need to be replaced to keep from scratching your tint. you can get them from any of the repop suppliers.
