Thanks Vintage 68 Sep 7th, 05, 03:51 PM Any Automotive paint store in your area should be able to make you up a pint/quart/??? of your color in a one part topcoat. Most can even put some in a spray can for you at a small additional fee if you wanted. Last time I bought Butternut Yellow I asked them to cross-reference DuPont #4620L color code. If you change your profile to say where you are, maybe we could even give you a store and contact... ;) kz1000ltd Sep 7th, 05, 05:01 PM This place is awesome, took me about 10 days to get it, but it matched my 69 PERFECTLY! http://www.paintscratch.com/ Old Blue Sep 7th, 05, 05:18 PM Thanks guys I live in the Bristol Va area. A buddy of mine has a 64 Chevelle and I was trying to find him some paint. I told him he may have to have some mixed. I usually have some extra from my paint jobs and keep it for future use. I will check out the web site and let him know he's not in a real hurry. Thanks again... joe69rs Sep 7th, 05, 07:27 PM Here's another place to try. http://www.automotivetouchup.com/touch_up_paint.asp Old Blue Sep 7th, 05, 08:42 PM Thanks Joe, I tell him and check them out for him. I actually saved/and printed the pic you have posted of your 12 bolt, so I knew how to run the brake lines on mine! Btw, your car is real sweet. Nice meticulous work pays off! Old Blue Sep 9th, 05, 07:17 AM I sold that car a while back now I am putting my 69 SS car back together. I was thinking about putting some of the pics on another site but haven't taken the time yet. Hopefully it will be moving under it's own power in a couple of months. I told my friend about the paint and he is going to have some mixed around here. Thanks for all the help guys!!! |
