I'm restoring my 67 and I'm looking for a passenger door, trunk lid, bumpers, etc in case I can get them in better quality than some recently made overseas stuff.

Any good leads on this would be greatly appreciated.

I went looking through all the yards down in Chula Vista last summer and did not see a single 1st gen Camaro. I haven't been to any up in the North County though. There used to be a TCer from San Diego named chicane here, but he was banned a while ago. I think he hangs out at lateralg now. He gave me a bunch of good contacts last year, but I have had computer melt down since then and lost the e mail.

I can second the no 1st gens in Chula Vista / Brown Field area. Ecology had a 69 they were going to part out and sold the entire car the second day it was there (I was told this by gate guy at Ecology).

Your best bet is to check www.recycler.com and www.craigslist.com daily. I got both rear quarters, complete Rosewood Dash and a few other parts for my 69 project from the recyler within the last year and 1/2. I had to got LA for all of it, but it always seems to be that way for anything I want. Nothing is ever for sale in San Diego lol.

I lived in Imperial Beach at the 905/I-5 Split. I used to frequent Ecology for my truck. I miss it and want to go back , but cant really afford it.
